Hi there my name is Noah and have I got a story to tell you. I am a one year old Staffie that was branded a Pit Bull. I was born to dog fighters and they thought they would make me a fighter also. Um NO! I am a lover not a fighter! They threw me in with their prize fighter and I almost died. I refused to fight. The entire side of my faced was ripped completely off. They threw me bleeding and dying in their car and drove me to a neighborhood, opened the car door and shoved me out. I was so scared and in so much pain I went and hid for days. I finally gained enough strength to look for help. I seen a nice lady about to go in her home so when she opened her door I ran inside and hid again. She was mortified by the way I looked. My face had become very infected and had started falling off. All of my facial bones were exposed. She called animal control and of all things they took me to a kill shelter. Bad to worse is my luck. The vet there seen how sweet I am so she asked a rescue group to take me. Rescued I was! They got me straight to the vet and the healing process began. It took months of scraping, cleaning, wraps and meds to get tissue to grow. It was so painful but I took it like a good boy. My rescue has been amazing and my foster home is the best. I get so much love now. I never knew life could be so good. I get belly rubs, kisses, treats and I have toys. I love toys! I have other dogs to play with, no I am not afraid of other dogs, I love them as long as they are nice. I love children also and I am so very gentle with them. I really am perfect, I am house broken and crate trained. I am up to date on all of my vaccinations, neutered and I have a microchip. My face is as healed as it is going to get and though I may not look perfect I feel great. I have no problems eating, drinking or giving you slobber kisses. Please do not let my past keep you from making me a part f your family. I didn't want to be a fighter and because I refused to fight I almost lost my life. I am a lover and I need a family to love. I have a lot of it to give. Please make me all yours by visiting www.soardoggyrescue.org to fill out an adoption appllication.
